For me, if Manuel is to leave we have to be realistic and assess who out there plays our brand of football, and has the "holistic" approach our owners crave. Simeone is a wonderful manager, but we'd be destroying all of our hard work, the blueprint for our style would be monumentally different.
Klopp is the same, we play a fast possession based, his sides like to play on the break, again I don't think he'd be right. Ancelotti is hugely proven with the ability to adapt, but what worries me is his poor league record. He has only ever won three league titles, which is poor when you consider the club's he's been at.
Guardiola is the only one who fits he bill, Txiki said so not too long ago, If we appoint a new manager we leave ourselves open to missing out on him. I'd like to see Pellegrini given amother year but backed in the market with players who can actually play his high line, players who can press well, and also use the ball better than some of the others we have.
