Do we play good football?

Sir Joe Mercers teams played good, energetic, entertaining ,WINNING football.

So did Sir Antonio Book's

Brian Horton did his level

So did Joe & KK

So did The Man that restored PRIDE......Bobby bloody Manc.

Keep it bloody simple please Pepito,we all want you too succeed !!

We played good football at the beginning of the season, we broke with pace and attacked the box, got goals and won games.
Now we break with pace still but 9 times out of 19 it then comes back, allowing opposition to get players back.

Anti-football !!!!! Wtf.......okay lets just sack him them and get in Fat Sam, no wait what about Roy Hodgson or maybe Tony Pulis, yeah he will do

This place is nuts sometimes.
Well he has went overboard on the anti football comment, but let's not kid ourselves apart from the start of the season and the odd game in between the football has mostly been underwhelming, call it what you like but a majority of it has been boring, but let's get this season done secure top 4 and get the right players he needs then if things don't improve drastically well he'll be under far more scrutiny...

Everybody's fault but Guardiola's , pep this pep that, not peps standard etc etc , how about the games we've lost directly down to his shit tactics ? Sick of hearing this shit , like we should bow down to him and praise...he's done FUCK ALL to deserve it !

What a fucking balloon.

That's because the energy isn't there anymore. Long term injuries, a lack of strength in depth and an aging squad have meant our better players can't be rotated and are completely burnt out. De Bruyne, Silva, Fernandinho and Aguero have been running on empty for months but we can't rest them. Even Sane at 20/21 is completely fucked, there was a 10 minute spell at Wembley when the lad couldn't barely get his legs moving but who do you replace him with? Navas? I don't understand why Nolito hasn't been used more but there must be a reason.

As much as I agree, a running pattern quickly emerged during those early months of the season. We would play excellent, exciting football for 45 minutes, and come out totally lacklustre after the break. Those second half displays now seem to be the norm for the entire game.

Domalino recons it won't be a problem if we want to use him, & has put up a pretty good case for that, which sounds about right to me.
It would definitely at least be worth getting him in the squad then. Always good to have a very different option available if things aren't going to plan.

Love pep and wouldn't swap him for any other manager, but maybe this season a good thing and has taught pep many a lesson about the premier league and the English game. Seemed to come here with blinkers on and hopefully this season will refine his gameplan and approach
