Even at that it wasn't 'up out of your seat' stuff; a great win but great football? We're not playing better football than we did in our title winning seasons put it that way.

I'm in no doubt after a season in the system, more suitable players etc we'll see much better next season and beyond but not for me this season as a whole; nowhere near it.

I don't think a few of the posters on this thread understand the reasons why we pass the ball so much but it's just ignorance. It's a typical British modern day mentality of wanting everything but not being prepared to work for it, hoping that luck rather than hard work does the trick. That's why our national team is fucking shite and we have so many bellends who just want us to lump it forward at every opportunity.

It's like some people are so scared to lose what they have it stops them progressing and actually trying to improve, just because short term results don't look quite so good.

Thing that worries me most and played a huge part us not challenging for the title (exactly as Pep recently stated) is total shots to shots on target to goals scored.
I still am convinced we will very much progress next season.

For anything else comparing to last season is in a way useless. Different team different opponents different circumstances.

I haven't seen one person say they found the 5-0 victory dull aside from you. So up until now no one has agreed. You were on the wind up, got called out for it, and have reverted to acting like a spineless victim.

Don't think i've EVER seen us create so many chances !

On top,I don't find us boring one bit,but do find our support on matchdays boring.Maybe you could contribute to the atmosphere.

Yeh,i've also not seen anyone else say this.Not on here or at the match !

It isnt the best football we have ever witnessed,but its certainly a level above much of the stuff other teams produce.If anyone desires the definition of dull,tune into a re-run of the rags yesterday......you'll get more than your fill.

Our current team is never going to reproduce the dazzling brilliance it was capable of a few seasons back,as our superstars were at their peak.However,when all fit and available,this team is still more than capable of putting on a show,and i'm still confident they could beat anyone on their day.

As for next season,i couldnt be more excited.

absolutely we do when it clicks! no team like us in England when we have a fully fit squad and we are playing well? wait until next season as well if pep gets sanchez, walker, alex sandro and two or three other world class players in! add a settled Gabriel jesus, sane and a fit again gundogan?? we have so much to be positive about blues.......I feel its going to be EPIC!
