Do you support ASLEF (train drivers union) strikes?

Yeah the bottom of the pile have been spoilt recently. Anymore bumps to the minimum wage may make the social worker drop a bit of grub off at the food bank for those train drivers.

Pmsl
What social worker? Did you miss the news today about a shortage of qualified social workers, so Councils have to use agencies? (It's the same people - who've left Council employ to work for an agency where they can choose hours and manage workload.)

It seems to be the new Tory way - know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

What the hell are you talking about man I'm saying care workers for example are under paid and I would like the low paid to be helped the most during the cost of living crisis.

*Just noticed I put social worker instead of care worker apologies although the posts should have been a bit of a clue.

I absolutely support the right to strike and, if you do, it is hard not to support the current strike action.

I support all trade union action.

We have some of the most stringent anti trade union laws in the developed world and its time that the workers fought back against the Capitalist class.

Absolutely agree.

This new legislation should imo be met with an all out General Strike.

It’s a disgusting attack on workers rights.
