Do you support ASLEF (train drivers union) strikes?

Selfish twats.
People in the private sector are also suffering from the cost of living crisis and working without having pay rises for several years. They can't just down tools, they just get on with life.
The strikers seem to love the limelight and the misery they are causing. I have zero sympathy for them anymore.

So I'm a selfish twat, am I? No pay increase for nearly five years and I'm supposed to not display my displeasure at that situation? How selfish of me to withold my labour and suffer a loss of pay in order to make my voice heard.

No, according to you, as I understand it, I am supposed to just "get on with life," presumably with the rest of the working population that are being shat on.

Just placidly being fucked over until I retire or die.

No chance.

Oh, and by the way, the railways are in the private sector.

Private sector yes but heavily subsidised not been on a train (apart from a miniature steam line) this century but have paid £000's towards it. If it was truly private sector the free market would have closed most of it by now.

Yes, it shows what a clusterfuck this government has made of the whole 'privatisation.' Not just of the railways either.

My neighbour works on the railways, doesn't want to strike any longer but feels he has no choice due to union bullying. Said it before, both sides should be locked in a room until this is sorted.
