No footballing brain at all. The best you can say is he'll score the occasional great free kick and 1 out of every 10 crosses is great. Staggering how much we paid for him - I admit I never saw him at Lazio, I'd be fascinated to see how he played to get him linked with City and Real.

Going forward he is considerably better than Clichy. As defending isn't our priority in most games - breaking down parked bus defences is, I reckon Kolarov is the better option for most games.

errrr ..... he's a full back, and the first priority for a full back is to be able to defend.

Not when our first priority is to attack. Its all well and good having the most clean sheets in the league but when we cant even score, like last season, I'd be willing to risk a perfect defence for a goal or two.

His great crosses and free-kicks are too infrequent for me to rate him. Because there's nothing else to his game.

People always say this this but when you actually watch him against teams like Wigan and West brom at home he does very little apart from the odd decent cross or free kick. Very average player imo can't believe we actually spent 17 million on him.
