Does anyone still buy a tv license?

So if you don't have a TV but have a laptop ànd tablet and the TV detector chap comes knocking, what happens then?

Nothing. If they do happen to ask if you have an internet connection tell them that the only video footage you choose to watch is prerecorded naked midget wrestling, hairy-handed pensioner masturbation and giant vegetable insertion on spankbang, with the occasional Phil Collins video on Youtube thrown in for good measure. What are they going to do? Ask to check your viewing history with your ISP?

I am officially registered as No TV Licence and have been inspected by them.

I don't have Sky or cable anywhere in the house and the Freeview aerial is not connected. Instead all we have are Amazon Fire TV boxes which, we tell them, we don't watch any live TV on and just watch Youtube or Netflix.

Of course they have Kodi on them and the like but they never check.

They came round once about two years ago and never heard from them since.

It is good value when broken down like that and certainly how much I'm quoted for just basic channels in the States per month adds to that value.
The question has to be asked though, if you are not watching / listening to the BBC why should you be forced to fund it?
I cant believe there is anyone that hasn't watched Only fools and horses, match of the day, any live football (world cup), Attenborough programmes or listened to the radio. Great value in my view

Bit of a grave dig (old thread)
Just tried to link to a youtube clip of "The Young Ones" (Was going to explain to the millennials...fook em Utter Barstards) and found i couldn't even view it due to copyright........say the fuck what?, i have to pay regardless of my intention to watch your current trash, but stuff i paid for 20-30 yrs ago i cant watch now at my leisure?

Never ever ever let them into your home.
Never ever enter into conversation.
Never give any details and simply close the door in their Capita faces
Remember no dialogue whatsoever equals no prosecution.

They just came round and after identifying themselves i simply said 'i don't wish to talk about this thankyou and good day' he just said 'ok' and toddled off. I have also written to the bbc to remove assumed access from my property for their staff and sub contractors or affiliates. The dog kept them out the garden but still this helps.
