Does Yaya still have a role?

He doesn't have a future with us.
-between now and Jan... i can see him playing in Capital One Cup matches, that's probably it. Pep will wanna use either FA or Cap1 for youths too... so for all practical purposes, short of an emergency injury situation- he won't play another EPL game for City.

He's too expensive for MLS, so he will end up in China, playing for Pellers.

There's no doubt that coming off his 2013/14 season, City could have flogged him for a big bit of cash. At the time, I said I thought he should never play for us again. The way he dragged City's name through the mud was nothing short of unacceptable. That's a case where in FM I would have told him to fire his agent.. unfortunately that works in FM and not very often in real life. Either way, I'd have given him an ultimatum though -- ditch Seluk or leave.

Seluk never said a word about the club and his brother. That was Yaya in his own words in the French press. Blaming Seluk for Yaya's actions is popular on here but not accurate.

YaYa's agent is a cock. He likes to spew these ridiculous comments, remember the birthday cake? Anyway, YaYa, still hasn't told the twit to shut up, so is involved. Great player in his prime, but when the legs have gone, the legs have gone. Never mind 7kg. Sayonara YaYa, you were the best!
