We have had to have a dog walker monday to friday - our LabraSproodle (!) loves it and socalising with other dogs. Generally 1.5 hours in the middle of the day, so only 2-3 hours alone. Costs £10/day.
Not problem if you go to a reputable breeder, was going to get a lab but went for a Dalmatian in the end, great dog.Hello blues again. I didn’t get a dog last year because of my busy schedule but now I would be able to give significant amount of time if I plan on adopting a dog.
Would it be morally wrong if I get a puppy from a breeder than a rescue? Adopting a puppy from a rescue has always been my first choice but my heart is set on getting a pure labrador. Unfortunately there are none available in any of the rescue shelters.
Thoughts?
You can train them mate. There will be shit and piss all over the place when you return from work.
Needy things dogs. No time for them.
I wont be doing anything with a dog.You can train them mate.
Yeah i wouldnt be getting a dog if it was gonna be left alone like that. They are pack animals and need a pack.No dog should be left alone for that long every day.
It’s cruel.
Pack animals mate. They need a pack. In this case youre the pack and he wont want you buggering off for 9 hours a day.I have a question. Is it a problem with a puppy or for adult dogs as well? Puppies I get it that they need a lot of time but what about adult dogs?
