Btw, she can drive apparently. Or at least has mentioned driving in her Spectator articles although, given her recent contributions, perhaps we shouldn’t treat that as gospel.
The whole test drive story was fake. He even admitted he was worried about impaired vision. Not a single journalist had the wherewithal to notice that smoking gun. I'm fine with the logic of the rest but that was clearly where the truth ended.

He states he didn’t find it reasonable to put local London friends or family at risk if they caught Covid from his nipper but obviously didn’t give a fuck about the obvious family gathering in Durham should they have to pitch in.

I understand fully that men like to take control of the driving we drive to France and my Maud is not comfortable with driving over there but will always offer to do big miles on this side, but if she can drive and the whole pint of going up there was to protect the child then letting him drive with dodgy lamps is frankly ridiculous with both in the car.

If you are fine with the logic of everything else, what made his kid immediately and desperately more in need of (potential) emergency childcare than the thousands of others who stayed in homes with parents who had Covid 19?
