Obviously covid skewed things and it allows people to manipulate figures. But go and ask the average working class American if they were better off in 2019 or 2023.

You'll get one answer...

Could it be because
1. Trump cut billions of dollars in taxes… for the rich
2. Which led to severe cutbacks in federal & state expenditure for ‘average working class Americans’
3. The continued rollback of federal & state support systems (financial and otherwise) by republican evangelicals.
4. The continued non realisation of Trump supporters that they are on the very extreme fascistic dictatorship right, with their narrow views, and that the spectrum of views to their left isn’t ’extreme left democrat’ it’s extreme right wing, right wing, centrist, light left wing, left wing … and finally at the polar opposite to themselves is the imagined ‘communist/socialism’ which makes up a tiny proportion of the US population, but is lumped together with all the others I’ve mentioned by people like yourselves…. Because none of them are quite as fascistic as your group, and are therefore ‘leftwing extremists’.

It’s jaw droppingly stupid to refer to ‘extreme left wing media shills’. They are by any global index of left/right, right of centre… which sheds light on how extreme fascistic right wing Trump represents… and yet the poor ‘average American’ has been screwed over and lubes themselves up … for Trump.

You have to ask what's in it for them. They are bound to lose and will also ensure Trump loses. While a good few would be happy with that the majority of Republicans, even the anti Trump ones, would not want to gift it to the dems.

So you would piss of a big bunch of people some of whom are dangerous cult members.

The stark reality is Trump will win the nomination because the next best are not good enough to beat the maga cult.
