Today is the day. A criminal prosecution of Trump starts with jury selection. I expect that to last a week but, after that, the fun and games start.
Some commentators are suggesting that Trump will offer to plead guilty to one of the lesser charges, thus precluding the public rehearsal of all the gory details. I dont expect the prosecution to accept this deal. The American people need to hear all the details, especially as this may be the only trial before the election.

The GOP's only party plank is "own the libs." He's made it so. As such, he's right on point. You're making the mistake of assuming that are could or should be other substantive elements of the GOP platform. There aren't any. Even those dressed up as "stands" on "issues" exist solely to troll Democrats.I keep coming back to this as well. This could end up with 3 outcomes. Innocent of all, guilty of a misdemeanour but not a felony (no jail time), or guilty of the multiple felonies and then could be jail time.
