Donald Trump

We‘ll know soon what the judge has to say. I say LOCK HIM UP. Judge will have to act, surely?
More chance of a reach around from Scarlett Johansson than him ever seeing a prison cell after conviction, let alone for contempt of court.

Even the prosecution have suggested each tweet ‘only’ be a $3k fine.

Trump accused of violating gag order seven more times

Assistant District Attorney Christopher Conroy now proposes a new order to show cause.
He alleges Donald Trump violated a gag order against him a further seven times.
"It's ridiculous. It's got to stop," Mr Conroy says.

It's making a complete mockery of the justice system.

The judge is trying to keep the show on the road and not "give trump what he wants" but when you take all serious punishment off the table because you're scared of the backlash, you just hammer home how above the law Trump is to the jurors and everyone watching.

Two jurors left the case before it's started.

The **** has got to them with his intimidation tactics. I'm starting to think a bullet will be the only way to sort him out.
Hopefully they'll spill the beans .. he cannot keep getting away with it
This judge is about to say" make my day skunk"

One juror dismissed said 'he looked less orange' when ask by reporter what her thoughts were.
Waa Haa haa.

He's currently having to sit there while the defence asks the jury for their opinions on him. A number have said quite openly that they don't like him, but that's not something that prevents them being impartial. One said some of his policies are "outrageous", one has said he's "very selfish and self-serving", one said "The way Trump carries himself in public leaves something to be desired".

The defence will no doubt filter out the ones with stronger opinions, but they probably can't strike them all.

The best part is he has to sit there and watch his ego being repeatedly wounded. And this is the first of four cases where he's going to have to sit and listen to jurors talk about him like this. It could end up being a greater punishment than whatever sentence he's handed down if found guilty.

It's the equivalent days of him reading mean tweets.

Back up to 7 jurors, one of which has openly admitted to following some very anti-Trump social media accounts and podcasts. Consuming certain media alone is not a disqualifying criteria for a potential jury member.

The defence now only has one more peremptory challenge left. Prosecution still has three.
