Dortmund Fans

Re: Dortmund fans in 222

It was the same last year.

Don't know why people get so het up about it. Atmosphere is shit in CB level2, so at having some away fans in there helps.

Tickets for dignitaries. They had 223 last year (I sit in 222 normally) and are no harm. You get a lot of people take exception, but they're doing no harm to anybody and are't there goading people. Seems to be those with a chip on their shoulder who get pissed off, yet they're the first to give it out when it's the other way around. I've not got a problem with it to be quite honest.
They didn't look like dignitaries to me !!! And maybe they should be at least a few stewards for segregation

I had to move seats so couldn't comment on last night. Last season they didn't cause one problem and yet had people threatening them and trying to get then ejected for purely supporting their team. There were a few stewards about, but why do you need a lot to make segregation? They're doing no harm.

Re: Dortmund fans in 222

Nowhere near as embarrassing as the empty seats in and around our own corporate area.

City should find who should have been attending in those seats and decline to give them tickets for the Madrid match.

I follow Bayern home and away and we have two dickheads down the front who just sit on the fence for 90 minutes and get the crowd going, never even looking at the game.
The times I've wanted to punch one of the sad bastards off the fence are many.
Remember a Bayern game on TV when even i wanted to punch them. Boring endless stuff they were singing. The Quality of Ultras groups really depends on the "capo" (the guy on the fence)

We've gotta stop puttin ourselves down, considering our history, we've got a crackin support. What you all need to be aware of is that, prior to the world cup in 2006, attendances in germany were very poor. Dortmund have always had a good following compared to other german clubs, but Bayern were playin in front of 20,000 for champions league games in their old olympic stadium and I'll never forget the semi final of the german cup back in...erm....98 I think it was, when Bayern met Leverkusen, that game was played in front of a pathetic 9 thousand fans. Another thing, if germans had to pay what we pay, week in, week out, they wouldn't turn up at all FACT. And as for this ultra scene, The fookers don't watch the games, it's pathetic. :)

Re: Dortmund fans in 222

I'd prefer to put them in the Legends Lounge seats near the away section - that would make much more sense to me as it would help with potential segregation issues and limit the feeling that we've got two away sections!
