Drinking on your own in a pub

Do it all the time, just a pain in the arse when you need the toilet or a cig and you might lose your seat. Even went to a bar on my own on Friday, which is probably a bit weird but after several beers and a few tequilas it seemed perfectly normal

It's slightly more tricky down in London because the social cohesion here is poor. People simply aren't anywhere near as friendly as they are elsewhere and they tend to keep themselves to themselves. However, I find if you're polite and smile then people will usually, but not always, reciprocate.

I've always appreciated it when people have offered the hand of friendship to me.

Coming up to 7 and a half years here and I've seen so many people come and go. I'm unsure what I'll do or where I'll go when I leave myself. Anywhere else will seem so strange in comparison.

Coming up to 7 and a half years here and I've seen so many people come and go. I'm unsure what I'll do or where I'll go when I leave myself. Anywhere else will seem so strange in comparison.

For a day shopping or a night on the piss i absolutely love it! - But i've been looking at moving with job to the big smoke... even with a decent wage i earn the sort of places in central london i'd be living in well sound's snobby but an area of place that i wouldn't want to live in as im used to better... Also been working in london alot recently and just getting fed up of morning and evening travel on the tube etc...

Although like i said there are certain things i love about it

I despise standing still and not being in control of where I'm going so I'll always go in to the Pub for a pint if someone is running late on me. I'll rarely just go to the Pub alone unless I want to a watch a match because I find I tend to attract the idiot, the ne'er do well or the local nuisance if I'm just sat there by myself. They never approach if I'm with someone.

I know many a person who won't go somewhere unless they've got someone to go with. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. Never has.

I feel a dick even going to a drive thru on my todd. ha!

I'm like that. Won't have a pint on my own because I get paranoid thinking people will assume I've been stood up. I won't even go to the corner shop on my own. I have to have someone to talk to.
