Okay, but how is that a reply to if a player is world class or not.

This was what my post was talking about not how bad we are playing or our current league position.

Literally discussing with somebody else whether 4 players he named are actually world-class.

With all due respect again, what has my disappointment (not that I mentioned that in the post you have taken offence at) got to do with anything I said?

Some of us don't go around wearing blue-tinted specs all day and night and can judge a player without feeling guilty about thinking they may be good or very good players but are not genuine world class players.

So firstly I will repeat what I also said about the players, the bits you chose to ignore while thinking I was dissing them.

Ederson, there is a very good keeper in there, hopefully, he will learn to stop the rashness and be our keeper for the next 10 years.

Walker, he is a very good player just not world class.

Aguero was world class but father time is tapping him on the shoulder

Kdb is world class but looks tired.

So out of those statements which part is unreasonably dissing them off enough for you to throw your own toys out of the pram, in a sea of shite you chose my post to attack.

You ask what Walker has done wrong, as a Very good player not a lot but if we want to judge him world class then...


Walker first then, the number of times he is caught on the wrong side of the attacker which leads him to stick a leg out and concede penalty or dangerous freekick and not learning from this basic error.

Ederson, rashly flying out off his line time and time again making it easy for the attacker to slot the ball home into an unguarded net, it happenss a lot.

Aguero I never even 'dissed' unless saying he is nearly at the end of his City journey and what an incredible player he was is 'dissing' him.

Kd, dissing him by saying he is tired, I must hang my head in shame.


I hope you notice my joining date for this site, so you can take your 'going gets tough comment' and stick it up your fucking arse, 44 fucking years for me.

Discussing whether 4 players are world class or not has got fuck all to do with being supportive or unsupportive, it was a reply to a post and giving my own opinion on that question, I know on a football forum, what am I like eh?

Plenty of those other types of posts on here for you to go and find, off you trot, you will be in for a long night.

You’re obviously very upset with the team so I apologise for upsetting you even more. I too am a long term supporter for 55 years &, whilst it hurts when we don’t win, I just don’t think it’s down to specific individuals & I don’t like to see them called out as such.

all teams are inconsistent at the moment because of the situation but I do think we’ll turn it round

it's a term widely used in US soccer, American football, ice hockey, skating and fuckin' ballet dancing! It used to be called 'Anchorman' in the UK but since been bastardised and used frequently our American 'siddy' fans on here. It has crept into rugby league too.

DM is fairly recent too replacement term of anchorman.

The term pivot winds me up because every time It gets used on this forum I think of Rodri(treacle toes) and Gundogan fannying about like a pair of big ballerinas!
 
Rodri is a centre half or a midfielder against a Burnley. Why Pep didn’t drop him in there last night is baffling to me.

Nothing I said to the other poster and then in the reply to you has got anything to do with us winning, drawing or losing or being consistent or not or it hurting or not or if we win or not.

It was about whether the 4 players he called world class and he thought these 4 players were the only world class ones in the team btw were actually world class or just very good players, you see that bit of context there, world class OR just very good players, not shit players but very good ones.

Have you ever seen one of those boxing matches when one fighter is way ahead on points and rounds, and then all of a sudden the other fighter knocks him out from nowhere. Have a gess which fighter City are?
 
We have been very consistent over 10 years, during this time Chelsea, Dippers, Spuds, Arsenal and Rags have all failed to qualify for CL and had very poor seasons. We can't just sack Pep for this season's performances, I'm convinced we'll get better and climb the table. My only criticism would be the squad is too big and players not getting enough game time are under pressure when they finally get a chance. The form of Raz and Ffs, has not helped.

Its a massive difference, which is why most teams, especially the better ones that thrive in big games are struggling for consistency. No crowds is a big leveller and average players can probably raise their game while bigger players walk out into that silence and just can’t get up for it the same.
Wouldn’t be a good idea to use this season as a guide to anything much ( unless we win it :))
