It's no suprise most of dzeko's goals come from wide areas.
he can also score and create opportunities himself without receiving balls from wide areas.
he just needs decent service, that's all.
when AJ get's back in team, dzeko will become alot more active in this side, and hopefully even tevez might pass to him every now and again.

On the left you can see Dzeko's movement in today's game. On the right is his movement while he was in Wolfsburg. Hopefully you're gonna figure out the rest.
He is not supposed to come and pick the ball by himself. He needs to get the ball.
Also, I just wanna say how surprised I am by the amount of negativity you express toward your own team and players and how little you know about football tactics. It seems like the average member of this forum is 15 years old. Totally immature!

The depressing thing about dzeko is he hasn't really shown a glimmer of anything. Just looks very very average. I'm starting to feel sorry for him he is obviously trying but Luis and terry were smoking hamlets marking him yesterday

i'm thinking aj will start every game from now on so hopefully some service will reach edin and we might see what we have bought.
we had a glimpse of what he is capable of in the notts county away game with the right service.

Dzeko hasn't got the pace to play with a midfield that plays so deep, Mancini's Tactics and Signings don't suit each other, the man is either a poor judge of player or has some grand plan to change the whole team around.

What's kind of lost in all this rubbish is that Edin had a pretty good game yesterday, especially in the first half. If you know football you saw it.
People knocking him for unsuccessful 1 on 1 with Luiz yesterday, but the fact is that such thing HAPPENS to any forward. You don't always win that kind of matchup - if you did, your top scorers would have 60-70 goals a season :-) Jesus, Tevez runs straight into oposing defenders at least 2-3 times each game - but noone even mentions that... I find that very funny. On top of that - Luiz was playing lights out and that mofo shut down anybody coming at him, and more.
Some people are being unbeleivably unfair to Dzeko, emphasizing every little mistake of his while not even seeing the positives when he plays...It's just a damn shame.

Put 2 or 3 crosses in for him, he'll score one, maybe 2.
