If Adebayor didn't have the mentality and attitude he has it would be a respectable thread but he is too self-centered to be considered in the same light as Edin Dzeko. Dzeko is a better person with a better mentality and better ability.

We don't half have some imbeciles following City.

Especially on fans forums.

Like most Clubs to be fair.

Someone scores a couple of goals - oh, let's sign him / he's class.

Someone makes a tackle - oh, let's sign him / he's class.

Someone has a half-decent game - oh, let's sign him / he's class.

Then, apply the exact opposite to our players (e.g. a Striker doesn't score - he' shit etc).

Here's some examples from recent times:

Parker, Adebayor, Dzeko, Balotelli, Milner, Nasri, Cavani, Lavezzi, Hoilett, De Jong.

There's several more too.

For the record, IMHO Dzeko will prove to be a far better acquisition than Adebayor, not only as a superior team player but as a Striker.

Not really the situation in this case though is it. Adebayor is a proven striker in the Premier league and like Dzeko plays as the target man and is registered with City and so comparisons are inevitable.

Whats sad is when the OP gets slated for asking the opinion of others on a forum.
