Well, Marcel Schafer is a LB/WB but he makes marauding runs all the way and he made a lot of great crosses for Dzeko et al.

so you are now confirming dzeko has become "dzeko" playing in a system where there were a trequartista (misimovic) and cross coming from fullbacks just like mancini is playing with a trequartista (silva) and cross coming from fullbacks ?????

Schaefer and Riether are very good, but Boateng and Kolarov are better, although neither tends to run as deep.

austrian side SV Ried is playing this year like that and right know they are on the top of austrian bundesliga,...and Rapid Vienna (threw villa out of europa league twice) is behind them and Red Bull Salzurg to,..so this system is working and is working damn good,...it could work for city too.
