Not good enough, I presume, at least yet. What about DeJong though, what's your beef with him?

IMHO mascherano is better than de jong. but he is not good enough to be regular at barcelona.

now , IF we have to build a world level team (that i think is what the owner want) we need to think about who is and who is not good enough for world level.

and , listen to me , dont talk to me about united becouse i believe they currently AREN'T world level.

They of course aren't and they are winning the league (with the refs help, just enough) with that style. That's my point too. An additional point is there is a number of individuals in Utd who aren't world class, and yet it works.

As per City becoming world class I agree in the longer term, but before that something needs to be won, and the current DeJong is more than enough in that position for that to happen.

i think the unusual and strange 3-3-2-2 system would be great for city,...
this system allows them fast switching to 442-433-5-3-2-1 depending on result.

--------------------hart--------------------
boateng---------kompany--------kolarov

johnson------------yaya---------de jong

tevez---------------------------------silva
----------------balo-----dzeko------------

What the hell is this??!! A joke I hope............good grief.

-------------De Jong-----Yaya--------------

-------Silva--------Tevez------Balotelli------

-------------------Dzecko------------------

Width from fullbacks, protection/cover from defensive midfielders, attackers interchangeable...

Really doesn't take rocket science to work out where mancinis goin with his formation

this is best i've seen...............however - zabaleta isnt quick enough to be an overlapping fullback.

Imo, if Dzeko and Tevez both play then they both need to be upfront. Tevez was far too deep against Villa and may aswell have not been on the pitch as he's completely ineffective when he comes deep, that left Dzeko isolated upfront on his own.

It seems we bought Dzeko to be a big target man but the problem is with the players we've got and the system we use we can't really accommodate wingers.

Problem is, Mancini likes his 3 defensive players (Yaya, De Jong, Barry) and Silva is too good to drop.

From our regular line up you would assume it would tactically be like this:

........................Hart......................

Boateng....Kompany....Toure....Kolarov

.......................De Jong..................

..............Yaya...............Barry.........

.........................Silva....................

................Tevez........Dzeko.............

The idea is to be tight through the middle with the full backs providing the width (ala Chelsea) Kolarov did this well against villa but i don't think we've got a right back who will do the same. With the exception of Zabaleta maybe.

Imo this is our best system, but means the likes of Johnson cant get in the team.

no width.....................next.

With all the money we have and looking for a squad with many options then pace is something we dont have.id say we are effecient powefull but no pacey players.

get used to it, that is how we will be playing

We comparing formations now? I'll give it a shot in the dark

My team 2011/2012 season

----------------------Hart---------------------
-------------Boateng-------Kompany-----------
--Zabelta------------------------------Kolarov-
--------------------De Jong--------------------
-------------Y.Toure--------Milner--------------
--Balotelli--------------------------------Silva--
----------------------Dzeko--------------------

SB

Given
Richards
K.Toure
Barry
M.Johnson
A.Johnson
Guidetti/Tevez

I reckon Tevez will be gone summer time I may be wrong who knows.

I might be a bit to hopeful with the bench but don't be surprised with a few more signings this summer to compensate the players leaving.

I reckon Tevez will be gone summer time I may be wrong who knows but if so I can see Balo playing in his position and AJ playing on the flank with Caicedo maybe featuring on the bench.

Oooppsss.......
