Dzeko

Well, many have said that Juve are only a top striker away from being a balanced team.

At least Edin will be the main man there, if he does go; which is looking more and more likely.

I think they are a balanced team already (havent lost a game last season?) but Edin would definitely make them better (like him or not, he is miles above Quagliarela, Vucinic, Matri et all.).

It would suck though - I REALLY want him to stay at City...:-(

Gone from 5/2 to 2/5 overnight to go to milan. Big swing that.
Skybet though, they dont have a clue .They also have him 5/6 to leave and 5/6 not leave, wouldnt it make more sense to back this.

Nice change for a bookie to offer odds on a player staying!

Last year for example Sneijder was a very short price to go to us then a similar price to go to Rags but ended up staying and the bookies cleaned up on the bet!

I cant believe Dzeko might be going. If he goes we wont win the league. In fact we'll probably never score another goal.

If it came down to having RVP or Dzeko, I'd rather have RVP.

How many good seasons has RVP had in Arsenal, apart from last one?
How many good seasons has RVP had in Arsenal, apart from last one?

Every Dzeko thread;

1) Somebody starts a thread about something that slightly relates to Dzeko

2) then some express how much they like Dzeko as a person and a player

3) Other posters criticize him for some of his performances and certain aspects of his game

4) More posters then respond to the criticism

5) 'Debate' ensues

6) Several posters are then labelled haters

7) Whilst others are labelled fan boys

8) Old posts are then 'bumped' with the sole intention to provoke some posters (by both sides)

9) Steps 5-9 are then repeated until the next Dzeko thread is started (the next day) and the cycle starts over again.

Please refer to para 3) - 9) above :-)

Well in his entire Arsenal career he average a goal just over every 2 games, along with just short of 8 assists a season.

Would you classify 44 games, 20 goals and 15 assists as a good season? That was 2008/09

Scoring and playing time wise would you say 19 games, 10 goals, 9 assists is good? That was 2009/10

What about 33 games, 22 goals and 7 assists? That was 2010/11

EDIT: Hoisted by my own petard Rammy

Am I right to assume you quote those stats to demonstrate that RVP isn't much cop?
