Balotelli's first touch & passing is pretty shady, but it seems no one really talks about that.

Until now I was convinced that he will stay. But, sadly, it seams that RVP is coming and Dzeko is departing...CTID101 said:Dzeko not going to China. Said he is still injured.
I hope it is just precautionary and we are not keeping him back incase he has to fly off for a medical etc.

How is this an idiotic post? I'd complete agree with that statement. He can be so frustrating particularly with his first touch.
On the face of it, RM is preparing to sell both Nige and Edin. Neither have travelled. I hope we have real quality coming in?olddirty said:Until now I was convinced that he will stay. Balotelli can often bring down a ball that nobody else in our team would be able to bring down, he brought down a ball outrageously with his heel against Spain in the Euros, no other City player would have been able to. However, a few times last season, he beat the offside trap and his first touch seemed lethargic and took him backwards, he often slipped, and you can't deny that his passing is plain average.Marvin said:Idiotic postComrade Buka said:Balotelli's first touch & passing is pretty shady, but it seems no one really talks about that.

Please can you explain to me why it's idiotic.

I just cannot comprehend how anyone can slag Balo's skill and ability to control a ball. Attitude and off the field antics yes....but ability?
Most fans frustration with Mario is down to him not making the most of his ability, but you're saying he doesn't have the basic skillsbloater said:GXCity said:bloater said:Please can you explain to me why it's idiotic.

I'm not slagging him off. I'm just saying that he can be frustrating. Like an earlier poster pointed out he can sometimes pull off outrageous bits of skill to control a ball. But there are so many occasions where he seems lazy in getting the ball under control and it just pings off him. I love Mario, but it's one aspect of his game (specifically his game - not his off field antics) which I find to be quite frustrating.
I'm not being an idiot. It's just an observation.
