Interesting reading this thread to note how much peoples' perceptions of threat are shaped by the media. I intend to panic buy at an early stage, before the TV tells me not to.

My niece is married to a pilot who flies a private jet for a wealthy Nigerian who deals in oil and pipelines. I was talking to her last night and she said that when passengers are coming through the terminal and being checked they are using one of those wooden lollipop like sticks when they look into your mouth but the frightening thing is they then use the same stick for the next passenger and the next and so on. Also if you want to bring anything into Nigeria then as long as you cross the right palm with the right stuff then everyone turns a blind eye and you can take anything in.

I dont believe that they would use the same stick for everyone. No one is that stupid, surely?
