Lots of commentsabout Tevez out, he is going nowhere in my opinion.

No one can afford his fee or wages. Players of his age look to get their final contract with a w
big wage packet - not lowering his wages.

Winning the PL confirmed Tevez stay IMO, he will feel he can win some serious trophies now at City, he wants to be part of the prject and he is getting payed very well! He won't want to change that.

I love Tevez. But I don't really think trophies have a lot to do with his decision making. I am pretty sure he just looks out for number 1. If he stays great, but I could see him leaving for sure. I think there are some teams out there that would pay him.

Just about to say the same thing re rooney. And we will kick off like fuck if he isn't aloud to drop off and get more onvolved in the game.

Rooney will do what he's told. Nah seriously, he played as a lone striker in 2009/10 and had a great time of it. He doesn't demand to play in the hole.

I would be very surprised if we got both Kagawa and Hazard, that makes little sense to me. Although if we offloaded Anderson, it would start to make some sense.

No Rooney spoke about it, he hated it, he scored tonnes of goals there but he said he didn't enjoy it, that it marginalised him from getting involved in the game.

Although you do think that your pursuit of Kagawa meant that Rooney was always going to be the main striker next season.

One thing Kagawa & Hazard are not & that is central midfielders. Anderson has been a central midfielder for you, Anderson leaving should have little impact on how you manage to fit Kagawa & Hazard in, who would both cost over £20m

Yes, Kagawa is in his last year of his contract but, Dortmund have already rejected one bid. Neuer went for £20m with a year left on his contract & there are other suitors for Kagawa, which means that they're not likely to accept a smaller offer early in the summer.

You still have Park, Valencia & Nani, you have just bought Young..

All of this & you're latest a/c's didn't look too clever.
Which is why I'd be shocked if you were to sign Kagawa AND Hazard, but stranger things have happened

Well Rooney never said he didn't enjoy playing right up top, that's not correct. He never even insinuated he doesn't like it.

I was mentioning Anderson more form a wage point of view rather than position, we have a fairly bloated wage bill at the moment and I could see us definitely selling him to help make room for Kagawa/Hazard. Berbatov going would make room for the other one.

Latest accounts were fine, they looked bad because the cash reserves were incomplete, they will have risen to circa £80m now.

But yeah, I'd agree that it'd be strange to sign both Kagawa and Hazard, because both wouldn't be needed. We're in dire need of a top class deep central midfielder.

City are surely looking for wide players: both Nasri and Silva prefer to play more centrally and we have strikers who can and do drop into the hole. I assume Hazard's concerns about game time are the prospect of being rotated with Silva and Nasri if he joins us. We need more options out wide so perhaps it is time to move on; unless Mancini is thinking of having less in the way of out and out strikers.

Don't get this obsession with width to be honest.
Flexibilty and interchange of movement wins the day.

Barcalona, City ....

I think the rags supposed interest in Hazard says more about a possible change in formation for them than anything else.

Didn't one of the City coaching staff say in Italy that we were looking for wingers? Flexibility and interchange are great and I'm all for that but having the option of playing with proper wingers could improve the team's tactically flexibility and I thought that was what they were trying to do.

I dont believe our system can accommodate "wingers " in the true sense of the word.
We may sometimes lack a bit pace and variation but a team is no use with 1 winger , It needs 2 to provide balance.

Mancini's system is now proven and Hazard fits.

Next Martinez please and we are good to go.

He is too high risk mate, he might get 1 year into a contract then want to go back home when a club will have payed 25m and 250k a week for him - City have apparently offered him to stay 1 more year then go on a free back home.

Conjuring up a partnership with Kun as well might be his ticket back into the national side as well.

He said wingers with "different qualitites". This suggest that it's maybe more than one, 2. With Johnson probably going. Hazard would fit in. He would probably play behind the striker aswell as out wide when needed. Hazard is extremely good 1v1 which is something we need aswell.

Apparently will give him away after paying him 250k a week for another year. Get real lad.

The way this lad talks and his manner, he'll be absolutely hammered by everyone if he doesn't score 15 in his first season!

You'd think he was Messi, the way he goes on.

Kinda logical that he wants to know how much playing time he'll get and on which position he'd be put. Also he has played his best games on the nr 10 spot. Hazard knows this aswell. So he's probably thinking that on his best position he'll have the most chances of performing well. Nothing wrong with his manner, just common sense.
