The passage below shows exactly what shite these journalists write...

He calls it the ‘number 10’ position, and he will ask for the number 10 shirt for Belgium tonight, and against England at Wembley a week tomorrow, after previously wearing seven or 11.
A fervent believer in symbolism, he will evidently request the squad number 10 at his new club but will not expect to commandeer Wayne Rooney’s, should he opt for United.

I'm not really sure his jersey number is that big of a deal for him unlike a ronaldo or a beckham. If ever he does join the rags or the chavs, it's because he thinks he has more opportunities of playing as a SS or AMC for them.

EDIT: After reading that article, he sounds like a proper t*at demanding jersey numbers. I'd rather we give the number 10 to aguero before this spoiled brat.

Bayern Munich reported that Dzeko had agreed personal terms a couple of days ago. Although they said the clubs had not yet reached agreement.
This would "vacate" our No 10 jersey! If he goes I wish him well.
Hazard seems to have the natural pace that Dzeko lacks. This has given me more optimism that we may get him :-))

No chance that he will get the No.10 shirt from us, chelsea or united.

he can have 8/9/11 (if Aj leaving)

Positive looking videos in it's quiet thread.

If those don't mean Hazard is done, I don't know what is

I think the state of play is that all 3 of us have met his terms. Unfortunately, I also think that the timing of this, plus his recent comments on position and playing time, mean he's London bound.

Personally I think he's do well under Mancini - playing 3/4 positions in a game makes you harder to keep quiet (imagine if Gio could have done that - left wing, right wing, second striker) and rotation, ok no player likes it but it does keep you fresher and hopefully more likely to have a better season overall. Plus, the best performers get rotated the least, look at Yaya and VK.

But Chelsea are more desperate for new blood, and he may take that as a sign to go there. I hope I'm wrong. Vinny could be key for us here, being a fellow Belgian. OK, Chelsea have Lukaku but he's not a regular, not the bets example on developing a player, for a young Belgian, surely?

In a way, if he goes to the rags it could benefit us in the long run. I can't see them spending like mad, and this could be our chance to push up the price and use up their limited budget, before other opportunities in the market have a chance to develop. Then, when the likes of Dani Alves or Modric or Bale say they want to move, the rags are already out of the running.

hope dzeko stays. I'd be annoyed if we let bayern have him for any less than we paid, cheeky sods

Guardiola said this morning that he is open for new club, it could be big Chelsea advantage for new deals if they managed to lure him.

Hardly worried. Pep is more suited for Italy.
