Chelsea don't have a manager, or do they?

You would think he would ask this question, before signing right?

Does he know something we don't?

If it's Chelsea where he ends up going to, then you'd have to think he's got the inside track on the manager situation plus other potential signings.

if city haven't got him its because we have backed out wages/agent demands...it seems if Chelsea have won his signature it is because they have bent over and let the agent shaft them silly imho.

but we know nothing yet untill the club is officially announced i will just wait on see on this one.

GK: Cech, Turnbull
CB: Terry, Cahill, David Luiz, Ivanovic (if he stays)
FB: Cole, Bertrand, +1 establiished RB (with Luiz & Ivanovic as cover)
CM: Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Ramires (maybe one more signing)
AM: Mata (with Hazard as cover)
Wing: Hazard, Marin, Sturridge
CF: Torres (possibly Hulk?)

Yeah no. A good squad, hell yeah. Great squad hmmm not yet. They still need 2-3 more world class players. Torres is looking like a Sheva at this point. Hazard will be great, Mata will be ok. The midfield needs players. Apart from Ramires who is class, the other 2 are starting to depreciate big time. The defense however is not bad, they don't really need to buy in that department. Lukaku hopefully will get more playing time. He's been wasted a lot this season. But yeah even if they bring in Guardiola, I see them finishing 3rd or 4th.

I think if they could add Modric and maybe Pereira from Porto then it would be a title chasing squad for sure. Especially if they can bring in a very good manager. A strikeforce of Marin, Hazard, Mata & Hulk could be frightening, albeit it would take time to adjust.

Hulk, van der Wiel and Modric could well be added to that. Lets not forget if they miss out on Hulk they want Falcao (so my CFC mate tells me)

i`m only pinning my hopes on the fact that we havent publicly walked yet?? when eto`o was fuckin us around we just pulled out and went and got ade! i still think hes coming to us but its not hard to get sucked into the media side etc!! remember though....... nasri was desperate and pleading with the rags to sign him apparantley!! ;-)

I'm glad most are re acting positively to this. We were in for him - no denying that - when we knew as a club that it wasn't going to be and moved on - who knows. Would be great if we could show some class un like others who tease their supporters to sell season tickets.

Yep. It might seem an odd decision at the moment but none of us know what Chelsea's plans involve. They've got a significant amount of re-building to do but Hazard could be the first of many arrivals there this summer.

Lets remember, Hazard said he wanted the no.10 shirt at the club and he joined and thats the position he wanted to play in. That is where Silva is most effective for us, in an attacking-central role, and there is no way Hazard is better than Silva at the moment. So getting Hazard probably meant putting Silva out wide, in which case it comes down to who is a better player and as said before it is undoubtedly Silva.

Bale would play in a similar role to AJ. Bale has played the last few weeks of the season in the middle.
