Off Twitter so probably fake, funny though -

Eden Hazard: "With all respect to Chelsea, I'd rather join a club with history such as Liverpool or Arsenal."

I know thats probably fake but its when fans say things like this that piss me off, if that was the case then players would be choosing the likes of Leeds and Forest over 95% of premier league teams. History is bullshit , the future is what counts for these players.

History counts. Especially when players with the same nationality succeeded at such a club. Look at John Guidetti at Feyenoord. Players like Kindvall and Henrik Larsson succeeded there, and started his career in Rotterdam. Even Zlatan was positive on Feyenoord. Feyenoord hardly made it to the 1st 10 places last year. Got the biggest beating in Eindhoven against PSV (10-0) and has no money to even deliver a decent salary. Still, they attract promising youngsters, diverting them away from teams like Vitesse, which is mainly a Chelsea-dependance where top-notch fees (to Dutch standards) are being paid.

Guidetti at Feyenoord has nothing to do with "history" and everything to do with our club having a partnership with them that involves sending top youth players for development. Someone like Razak will probably go there next season.

Eden Hazard asked today if he knows which country he'd like to play in next season. His response: "England."

Eden Hazard continues transfer teasing on Canal+. Says he'd like to play in England next season, 'for a club who plays good football'.

Tom Williams @tomwfootball
Hazard: "I want to play at a big club, but I don't want to sit on the bench. It needs to be a club that plays good football."

Tahsin Bazzi @TahsinOv
Eden Hazard on Canal+: "i don't know for which club i'll sign yet. Manchester, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are all great."

some of his comments today. Weird that he's open to all those teams in England

-- Sun Jan 29, 2012 7:47 pm --

Christophe Dugarry to Hazard on Canal+: "I bet it's Chelsea." Hazard: "Well, you're free to place your bets."
loool

I personally think its Chelsea.

Man u dont need a wide man
Liverpool isnt atractive to a toungster like him
Spurs and Arsenal dont have the money
City properly will have too much competition for him.

Chelsea being a London club, with alot of money will get him.

There's a lot of shit on our forums suggesting he's coming, but after the Robinho saga, I wont believe it until he's on CTV holding the shirt up.

the sit on the bench comment probably rules us out. Arsenal won't go for a winger now that Oxlade-Chamberlain had one and a half good games. For me it will be either Chelsea or United, if they sell Nani.

He was also asked about Arsenal

"Is Arsenal a possibility? Of course! We all know the quality of Arsenal,

I believe if they make the top 4, they would properly be his choice as he can use them as stepping stone. But Lille will have a bidding war for him, hence why i dont think he will go there. he has Gervinho there, his country man Vermaelen and believe it or not Wenger is still hugely respected in France.

The funniest thing was one of the guys interviewing told him dont go to chelsea

Pierre Menes tells Eden Hazard: "Don't go to Chelsea, it's a slow ageing team."

I'm not sure Lille would even want to deal with Arsenal after the Park fiasco.

funny just realized he didn't list Liverpool in his teams. The deluded scousers told me they'd get first option on him because they did them a huge favour by loaning them Joe Cole!! YCNMIU
