Ederson (defensive midfielder Atalanta)

In the Cambiaso thread mate
Aaah, a midfielder trumps Cambiaso this january any day for me. Maybe I'm putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 but could be that we are putting a outlay on Cambiaso on hold because Ederson for a considerable fee has opened up instead

Wouldn't shout that too loudly.....Phillips will definitely leave, and has been far worse, than he was the day he arrived (and I thought he was crap when we signed him) ;)
We won the treble with a team of no fuckers, full of ffs he’s shit, players out of position all over the place, still were full of fans that only see the negative

The problem with those saying he isnt good enough is that you may be right...

But who is? Almost every player mentioned has some kind of issue one could point out.

And the player most feel like is a guarantee (Bruno Guimaraes) would easily cost 100m+ and the club isnt in the habit of doing that.

If we want him we hem why don’t we just make them a one time offer they can’t refuse

It was baffling.

No it was not.

The game vs Brighton away where we were down to ten but still defending a lead.. Rodri became Plodri and gave the ball away like Kova vs Chelsea. He didn't track back, he didn't tactical foul, he just looked at the sky and the ball ended up in our net and we lost the game.

Pep was furious and benched him the rest of the season.

Easy to understand why but I still can't understand how Sterling got the start ahead of Fernandinho. He was totally shit after his Lyon miss but apparently Pep still counted him in his "trusted" group

I still thought it was baffling. The team that beat PSG should of played in that final. To not have Fern or Rodders in that final was crazy and I reckon 99% of City supporters thought the same.

To be fair we almost did pull it off.. we didn't get destroyed.

It was one bad moment by Zinny not covering defensively that hurt us.

Ruben worked magic at Zinny's defensive insticts that season but he just wasn't a defensive player.

That said I can't defend the craziness either because Chelsea could have scored 7.
