Edin Dzeko (continued)

Clearly none of those things happened because they don't involve Dzeko, Dzeko is the only person who turned around our title winning season and how dare you suggest otherwise.

This. Someone finally talking sense. Keep taking your medicine.

Yeah I presume apart from the fact Dzeko scored the equaliser, nothing else mattered too much in that QPR game for you.
Amazing how the Dzeko brigade point to that moment as the pivotal moment in our chase for the title. Let me put something to you fellas; What about Mario's last minute penalty against Spurs? Or what Kolarov's late equalizer against Sunderland? Or Vinnie's header against the vermin (that actually put us on top of the table)? Or Nasri's late winner against Chelsea? If none (or any) of those goals hadn't been scored, it wouldn't have mattered if Dzeko scored a hat-trick that day against QPR.

Those are your words not mine. And as for all the other moments of brilliance by other players, I think they get plenty of credit for it. After all none of those players get the shit Dzeko gets (except for Mario who's no longer here). And there in lies the issue.

When a player gets booed even after scoring a game winning goal (Crystal Palace game), you know there is a problem. Don't try to put this on those who actually like Dzeko for what he's done for this club. We are not the issue.

I was at the game, Dzeko wasn't booed for scoring the winning goal. Keep clutching.

I don't remember saying that.

And there's nobody who wants Dzeko for anything near a reasonable price, City have been trying to ship him out for two years.

Well if he's such a world class player, how on earth is £20m too much money?[/quote]

This is just not true. Bayern is past now. But I just give it as example that Dzeko was/is not wanted ?? I would never talked about it. If one poster did not said that no club wanted/wants Dzeko. Which is 1000% not true to say the least. Most CItys fans. Are unfortunately not aware how good and respected player Dzeko is/was. And how lethal striker he would be in Arsenal, Chelsea and others. He was/is better than Giroud, Torres and many others. Or in a team playing to his strengths. Give him 1 year in Arsenal and Giroud would not be needed anymore.

The record holder is after SPORT1 information before the commitment of the striker . Javi Martinez is also high on the list . Munich - The transfer Offensive Bayern gets going . After SPORT1 information , the record holder with striker Edin Dzeko of Manchester City should already be united. Now the Bavarians have some still on a transfer fee for the Bosnian attacker with City. /SPORT1 equal to english SKY SPORTS/
Bayern Munich have agreed terms with Edin Dzeko over a move to the Allianz Arena but are yet to agree a fee with Manchester City for the striker. /ESPN/
City ( Mancini ) demanded €30 million for Dzeko /29.5.2012/

And it is not the point. At this moment. Inter Milan, AC Milan, Valencia, Dortmund ( summer ), Arsenal ( rejected by Pellegrini, not because of money ) wants him. Manchester City and Juventus have agreed a €9m (£7.6m) deal for Carlos Tevez ( The Guardian ).
Dzeko having just 18 monthes left is worth between 10-15 mil €. And there are few clubs which would pay it. So it is far from problem. The REAL question is why is Pellegrini blocking Dzeko move for Arsenal and other clubs. Not if Dzeko will be sold at reasonable price.
Also swap Dzeko for Mata would be great for both sides. I can not see why are City fans against this. Pellegrini had played his cards and chosed the way forward. Time will tell, how good his decisions were.

You just believe everything you read in the papers don't you?
SPORT1 is biggest broadcaster. It is equal for yours SKY SPORTS. It was weeks in all biggest germans newspapers that Bayern is going for Dzeko. City had blocked that deal. Why did I use this example. Because wanted €30 million and saying that nobody wants the player are two completely different things. It is extremely harsh ( I better not use other word ) to say that Dzeko was/is not wanted player. 10-15 mil for such expirenced and good player is small money for many great clubs. Also Telegraph news of Pellegrinis block for Arsenal/Dzeko move. Was publicly said by Pellegrini.

There is no possible way City asked for €30m for Dzeko. They wanted van Persie and would have snatched Bayern's hands off for £20m.

It is very realistic chance that van Persie had used Manchester City as a bait. To get bigger deal from Manchester United. Like manyyyyy other players did before him in similar positions. It is really sooooo easy. Try to think as van Persie. Why would he fight with two great players ( Aguero and Tevez ) for uncertain second striker place. When he can walk into Manchester United team with Rooney as his partner. Welbeck and Chicharito are nowhere near the threat Tevez was. Tevez was best Citys player 2 years before that in a row. City did not managed to get van Persie. Which is perfectly understandable decision from the player. Why should he chose much harder and uncertain way. Would you ?? So Dzeko had stayed and was not sold to Bayern. If van Persie would agree to come to City. Mancini would probably sold Dzeko. Perfectly understandable decision. That is why City had asked more than they had payed for Dzeko, €30 million.. In that way they have said NO CHANCE to Bayern. But it is PAST.
What about future. Why is Pellegrini blocking Arsenal ( and others ) moves. Why not to swap Dzeko( sub striker ) for great Mata ( best Chelsea player in last two years and 6 monthes sub player, also spanish NT player ) ??
