He looked like the lad we signed from Wolfsburg. Credit to Pellers for turning this all around mid season. I have no idea what he says to these players. Surely Real Madrid must be kicking themselves for not keeping him on.

Played very well tonight. All credit to him. Could well have ended up with a hat trick himself if he'd stuck away that first half chance.

That was a pretty bad miss, but he was unlucky that Adrian made two top-class saves against him later on.

Interestingly enough - that first chance was from almost identical position as his second goal/screamer... and even on his STRONGER foot...just goes to tell it probably bounced over his foot or something....it. happens. even to the best of them.

Watch it again mate and you will see that Edin misses the first half chance after the defender runs across the near post covering where Dzeko wants to hit it. Edin has to go for the roof of the net as a consequence and puts it too high
