Edin Dzeko (continued)

A key component of Edin's game is that he is very strong mentally , he always believes he is going to score the next chance he gets .
This mindset is crucial in a striker as he never goes hiding even after missing a few presentable opportunities .
l reckon he will be on the scoresheet Monday ...

Ed has been fantastic for us lately, even I (who was never his biggest fan) have to admit that he seems to have improved considerably since the Mancini reign. Perhaps the credit, in part at least, goes to Pellers but whatever the reason is I just hope he keeps up the good work. Should def start against Chelsea (with Negredo).

The best thing about Dzeko is he rarely gets injured.
If he continues the way he is I want him to stay. This shooting against Spurs wasn't great but his hold up and passing was excellent.

NB: Of course if Raus is coming the other way I might change my mind.

I really like how Dzeko has improved as a player, anyone in the team that improves has to be welcome.

Take Zabs, Kolarov, Nasri all improvers this season.

It has to be a good thing if a player can step up to the task.

Zabs? Our player of the season last year?

Not necessarily agreeing about Zaba but just because someone gets player of the season it doesn't make them immune to improvement.

Watch Dzeko and Negredo destroy Chelsea's back 4 tonight.

Funny thing is - Dzeko really doesnt need better motivation than Mourinho :-)

Praising Dzeko all over the place in media...if he knew Edin he'd know this crap gets big Ed pumped up to prove his worth (negative publicity gets him down, which is kind of reverse psychology but true).

If one of the strikers was to be sacrificed in tonight's game, it would have to be Dzeko. The players must expect to fight tonight, they should be leaving the field with no energy left to spare. At times Dzeko looks like he has no interest, i find his body language to be very strange. On the other hand, i believe the beast will be up for a fight, he will fight for everything.

I think you are right, would be surprised if we only play one forward though but I guess it will also depend on Negrado, if he is still struggling then Jovetic will play but not as a forward, will be a completely different game tonight than against Spurs, we will need to make play. Under normal circumstances think we would play Garcia and push Yaya on with Silva in the hole, but Garcia is injured.
