Can't believe it's the same player who used to be a goal-scoring machine at Wolfsburg. WTF happened when he came to us? Maybe saving a storming performance for next Saturday...

What happened to him is the same thing that happened to Balo and its the same thing that's happening to Aguero , Silva and Nasri .

Dzeko was a beast at Wolfsburg, Nasri was a midfield maestro at Arsenal , Same for Silva at Valencia and Aguero racked about twenty something goals every season while at Athletico . Unfortunately these players happen to be under the management of a coach who can only develop defenders . Take a look at the the likes of Zaba , Richards , Vinny ..all these players have developed tremendously under Mancini , The same can't be said for the Midfielders and Attackers. Balo was lucky to "escape" and now he can't stop scoring , He seems like a totally different player now.

Cavani scored a hattrick today , so its only normal for people to want him here , However i believe he would turn out the exact same way as Dzeko - Start the first season red hot and then have a poor second season and then users would create "Cavani out!" threads.

Always an excuse. Always other players to point at and decry how they're performing at least as poorly. Always defending his fragile psyche. If he's benched, it breaks his confidence and it's he manager's fault. If he's played a lot of minutes, he's exhausted and it's e manager's fault. The litany of players to blame for his shortcomings is endless. Balotelli... Tevez... Aguero... Silva... Play Dzeko as a target and the ball bounces 10 yards off him consistently. Pass it to him and the same result. His defenders blame a lack of crosses, but when the ball is crossed he botches that too.

On and on it goes. I guarantee if Tevez had scored 20 and Aguero 25, Dzeko's fans would be whining that he's barely had a chance and would have scored 35. Fuck off.

Well said. Especially the last sentence.

But Dzeko has scored 12 league goals and Aguero & Tevez 11 league goals. How does that grab you? Should those two be sold too?

Aguero has been injured for about a third of the season - which is just about excusable. but what is Tevez's excuse?

Dzeko started his first season red hot? Didn't he take about 15 games to get his first premier league goal? Oh dear.

-- Sun May 05, 2013 10:26 pm --

Tevez has also produced 12 premier league assists, more than David Silva.

All our strikers have underperformed, but Tevez is our top scorer with 17.

You can score goals outside of the league games you know

Tevez has most goals overall and one of the highest assist totals in the team. Also has a great workrate.

You make too much sense in one post sir. No doubt you will get shut down by all the Dzeko haters.

You certainly can - Tevez scored five of those goals against Watford, Leeds, and Barnsley.

Point being?

Do they not count?

Or are you saying that Dzeko's inability to score past Barnsley after playing the full 90 minutes is bad?

Oh, it's another knock on other players to promote another, I get it.
