Hahahaha you guys are ridiculous. Without Dzeko you guys wouldve lost early on in the 2011 run for the FA Cup. You wouldve lost to a 10 men QPR team 3-1 and settled for second. You wouldve dropped a lot of points this season and last season. Go look at hid performances in the past for Wolfsburg and recently for this national team. The man is a quality player that doesnt get any credit from you delusional "diehard City fans". You criticize every touch he has and then when your other "top" players perform poorly you cut them some slack. Same goes for your silly manager. Worst manager Ive seen in some time. The lineups the man puts out, the formations, the style of play..etc are all poor. He has great players at City and has no clue who goes where and how to use them. Mancini ruins quality players careers. Benches in form players and then complains about that player when they play poorly. Embarrassing. From the fans to the manager. Embarrassing. Now I understand why all teams/supporters hate the Manchester teams/fans.

Wind yer fucking neck in you clown !!

heads gone, he's lost the plot. His own worst enemy, don't know what's happened to him.

Players are sometimes harshly criticised. BUT when players make NO effort, the fans are entitled to ask questions.

No need for that tonight, and his post-match comments were a pisstake aswell.

Why should i try and defend him time and time again, if he can't put the effort in?

Shit attitude, lazy attitude.

Sell and replace asap.

Was a fan but its amazing how his game has completely off the boil. Grateful for his goal but his all round play was poor quality tonight. He doesn't want to be here so best to et him go.

Does this mean when Edin goes you and the Bosnian train will leave our station?
nope, I will miss Edin for sure. He has done enough, won the league and FA Cup two times even if he doesnt fit our rotation system.
CTID
Clearly not a city fan with that cocky plasticrag optimism!

He is a good player who can score but, he is also very fucking inconsistent. Didn't Wolfsburg have same issues with him the season after they won the league? He fits in well when everyones scoring but put him under pressure to perform week on week and he loses it just like Adebayor(and no its not cos theyre big strikers its because they are consistently inconsistent) i hold no grudge against either of them but they play and you never know what your gonna get.
I'm sure he will win a championship with his next club and then look for a way out when faced with stiff competition a year later.

I keep seeing comments like this, are there any strikers out there that wouldn't struggle in our system, cause that is what I see for ones that we are linked with.

The problem is, we actually need someone like Dzeko even if he doesn't fit the system. It gives our attack another dimension. When the opposing team prepares the defense for us, Dzeko is the one that has them wondering about aerial threat, wide attacks and set pieces.

Prior to arriving at City I think he fully believed he would be getting first team action. I can understand his frustration, as his a top class striker with unique properties that could be tearing up goal charts in any league. Instead he's been struggling to make an impact and secure the spot in the starting 11. While at the same time scoring heaps in the international games.

I don't get the hate he gets. He is obviously trying. He is actually a model nice guy off the pitch and known for being unselfish on the pitch. Give the guy (not you specifically) some room to vent his frustration, seriously, he scored after a long drought.
but surely someone like Cavani who would offer more pace, more technical ability, and a wider range of abilities in addition to that physicality would be what we need. A combination of the finesse of Aguero/Tevez and physicality of Dzeko (and is more clinical with his opportunities). Maybe I haven't seen enough of Cavani but this is what he seems like to me. I understand the support of Dzeko and feel that when he moves away he will rediscover his form but at the same time I don't quite understand the criticism of Cavani.

cavani has pace but whats the point when our whole team dosent have that... his tech abilty comes from fast play and big counter attacks, if u have noticed we got the ball all the time.. hes to much of a risk for the amount of money where allegedly going to dish out. i rather get suarez who would properly fit in the system or a wild card like benteke or lukaku.

Same old same old digs. come up with something new ye?? or actually contribute to the thread rather then your personal vendetta against me.

For those who doesn't watch Cavani, watch RVP. It's just a different skin.

Cavani plays alot like RVP. A fox in the box, gets in dangerous positions, volleys from impossible angles, little dangerous flicks and tricks in the attack.

To compare, Cavani will be like Dzeko, with more to his game.

I did in discussing the importance of movement but all you ever come up with is "haters", fantastic contribution; you are a scouse loving monkey not a city fan.
