Edin Dzeko

Tevez is going nowhere - he can't!
I fear Edin will be off - pity as I think he would cut it given confidence from a Manager who understands people.
I hear (check out my previous posts for credence) that Cavani has long been on the radar but was Mancini's preference, whether he will be Pellers' is open to debate. Sergio's mind set is the big worry here.

If you're going to ge tthe best out of Dzecko you have to play to his strengths. Its been obvious from day one he's not the type of forward who can play with his back to goal, he needs to be running onto the ball or getting on the end of crosses. I hope Pellegrini persuades him to stay as we need a plan B striker for those teams that park the bus.

This is gonna sound crazy - but I am really starting to believe City will do BETTER with slightly WEAKER strikers next year.

I was always against piling up star players - as these fu*kers have HUGE egos.

You need TWO great strikers ("starters"), and two who are willing to shut the F up and ride the pine/be supporting cast when needed.

Tevez/Kun/Dzeko are neither happy with that role. Sell Dzeko/Tevez and bring in Cavani - you'll have fallouts AGAIN.

Club needs to decide the future outlook of starting strikers (Kun-Tevez, Kun-Dzeko, Kun-NEW guy) - and sell accordingly (then bring in supporting cast).

If you approach it that way - I actually believe Tevez is closer to exit than Edin (younger, different qualities from Kun), and they are BOTH close to exit, probably.

Anyway, I thought the Brazilian Russian guy who's name I can't spell was coming to replace Dzeko.
I assume you mean Fernandinho, whose a Brazillian playing in the Ukrainian League? If so he's a midfielder not a striker. The only striker we seem to be being linked with really is Cavani.

You may be right as I am not big on Eastern Bloc footy. Just was I was told but I'm not an expert.

Mario's agent was saying he wouldn't be going anywhere less than a week before his transfer to Milan was finalized. Agents words mean nothing (if that's even his real agent)
