Watching Dzeko last night he thrives on through balls and balls over the top they way we play and other teams park the bus we don't get the best out of him
I think that with the width and speed down the wings, this will us more options out wide but also, SIlva, Yaya and Fernandinho will have more room in the middle to look for those killer through balls, Which Sergio, Dzeko and Negredo will thrive off.

If you watched the Arsenal game they parked the bus and Navas found it very hard to get any crosses in they doubled up on him

Yawn, here we go again.

Ain't good enough for what? Being the top league scorer despite the irregular playing time Mancini has given him? Or maybe saving the day by scoring the equalizer which made the Agueroooo moment possible? Or saving the day so many other times early last season, when he was being dubbed the super sub.

What exactly is he not good enough for? Track record has shown when given consistent playing time and support, he is one of the top strikers from Europe. Twice the Bundesliga player of the year, best striker in WC qualifiers. Only City player to score 4 against another PL team in history of the club.

You should be kissing his boots, instead of talking nonsense. Absolute World Class player, Man City legend.

Behave.

By doing this it free's up other creative players more central (silva, yaya etc)

That might be the case but playing the short and intricate passing game suits Aguero, Silva, Nasri and so on down to a tee. Ask them to play on the wing to put crosses in or sit deep and ping balls over the top and we are limiting their own game.

What do you do?

Thankfully I am not Pellegrini.

Manchester City are likely to reject any offers for Edin Dzeko despite reports Arsenal are keen on the Bosnia striker.

Arsene Wenger is said to have turned to Dzeko after failing to sign Gonzalo Higuain and struggling to prise Luis Suarez away from Liverpool.

Dzeko, 27, seemed likely to leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of last season, when Borussia Dortmund were interested in him and he was disenchanted at being left on the bench by former manager Roberto Mancini.

However, although new manager Manuel Pellegrini has signed two other forwards, in Alvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetic, he has made it clear Dzeko plays a pivotal part in his plans.

“I consider Dzeko the main striker of the team,” the Chilean said last month, confirming that Dzeko is his first-choice forward.

Dzeko had also confirmed he wanted to stay following the arrival of Pellegrini.

“The manager gives me confidence,” he said. “I feel different because someone who is important has trust in you, and that is good."

The former Wolfsburg forward, who joined City in January 2011, was their top scorer in the Premier League last season with 14 goals but only started 16 games as Mancini preferred to pick Carlos Tevez, now of Juventus, alongside Sergio Aguero.

Very nice highlight video from the Bosnia-USA friendly. Dzeko had a very good game.

He scored two, and also put in a superb long distance volley, but it ended up being offside. Nonetheless, the finishing skill on it is buttseks.

Dzeko goals at: 0:25 and 4:00. Offside volley at 2:23.
