All these threats of reporting the Cavendish Press to the PCC are hot air, they're not going anywhere.
If you read the PCC's policy about complaints you'll see that they specify that a complaint will only be investigated if the story personally affects the originator, so for example if the Cavendish idiots printed something about you, or a family member. I don't think that being a supporter of the football team in question is "personal" enough for the PCC to be fair.

Of all the places you could burn an effigy, why there? I wondered how they'd got it there, but it's hanging from a rope off the tunnel parapet. Is that some sort of accelerant on the jeans legs?

I compained about this exact thing yesterday to the Press Complaints Committee. I also said it was quite clearly staged and gave a link 2 all 3 pictures and article which was in the Mail.

Same here - I sent my complaint off last night, along with a link to the story and a photo from it... also noticed that the Daily Star have run the story today too.
