For someone who doesn't have an electric car you post in this thread far too much. Did an electric car bully you at school or something?
I drive regularly from London to Manchester and it costs me about £6 per leg. How much is it in petrol? I don't know but I assume it's about £40-50 each leg these days? Anyway it's absolute bollocks that electric costs the same amount as petrol.
I charge my car overnight, I imagine a lot of people do, especially those that don't live in the city. No idea what the infrastructure is like outside of London but they are built into the street lights here - I see more charging points than electric cars (and I'm not joking).
It takes about 20 minutes to fully charge my car at a fast charger. Time for a coffee, piss and you're on your way. Is that seriously a problem? My car does about 220 miles and I generally use it as a city runaround so probably only charge it as often as you fill up your diesel tank.
Now I'm glad you have time on your hands thanks to your diesel car only eating up 2 minutes of your time but I've seen you post in other threads and I'm pretty sure you're environmentally conscious so is a bit of your time not worth giving up to pollute the planet a little less?
