Willing to trust Txiki's judgement on any transfer, but this lad is still far from my first choice, although if the fail are right (reported £20m today) then the price tag becomes a lot more acceptable.

I can't see any scenario where Pinto da Costa lets Mangala leave for only £20m. This guy has been fleecing top clubs for years and Mangala has a lot of clubs on his trail.

We'll be lucky if we get the price down to £30m, IMO.

If we DID get him for £20m, Txiki is even better than I thought.

As per Fernandinho, we just shouldn't get hung up on the price. Lets say we can't even get it down to 30, 40m is the final figure. 40 million and he turns out to be the worlds best centre half for the next ten years?

Alternatively we could buy a new Demichellis every year..
