In fact, I still have no idea if I will attend to Sunderland game or stay home to see the in-laws...
I know Sunderland are a bit shit but you'd really prefer to see the in-laws rather than them?

He will miss a goal fest. We will be smarting from the burnley game I'm going for a 5 or 6 none rout

Is OP a Newcastle fan?

No he supports oxford united

If you go regularly then you'll know that the mighty Toon Army are obsessed with the tens of thousands of empty seats we appear to have and sing about them at regular intervals through the game.

Quite ironic when they haven't sold their allocation.

Hence my question.

That fucking Family Stand and relocating all those fans that were there before is the worst thing this club has done since the takeover.

Absolutely abysmal idea!

Yet another dig at the family stand ! Those kids are the future of city and both yourself and city want to get rid of them .said it before quite happy to bring the kids up and have them run round the hardcore stand up armfolder ultras in the south stand.just think we could start a new thread why are there empty seats in the south stand on a school night !!!

It's another dig because there are more empty seats in that area of the ground than anywhere else. I've got mates who have been priced out of their seasoncards, i have family members who've looked at getting tickets for some games only for the game to be listed as "SOLD OUT". Yet there are more seats empty in the Family Stand than any other area of the ground. There are certain seats that never seem to have anyone in them.

There might well be empty seats in the SSs but there are only odd ones.

The two standing areas are the most full sections of the ground for all games and are the most full sections of the ground come the final whistle of all games. I don't even stand in either of those areas.

and you know that none of the empty seats on the family section are empty because the person that should be there is stood in the singing section?

Okay then. My mate (a Rotherham United fan) and his partner (a City fan) had purchased tickets in the Colin Bell Level One for the Wednesday game. This morning they have received notice that the tickets have been cancelled. Obviously the assumption was as he has a South Yorkshire post code and Sheffield Wednesday have 'sold out' the South Stand then MCFC are concerned that Wednesday fans are trying to get tickets in the home sections. However they have previous purchasing history having attended Champions League games and ordering items from the website and surely City must have other fans with South Yorkshire postal codes?
