England or City ?

I can almost sense England will get knocked out in the quarter-finals, national tradition pretty much! Whereas the final position of City is anyone's guess.

Well exactly. City = less predictable = more gripping = City is my answer.

City no question, i think the likes of Spain deserve to win the World Cup anyway really, quality side.

Funny you bring this up see thing is I see myself as a very patriotic person and lads at work bought up an England friendly ages ago and I said I've been more involved with City more this season so I hadn't been keeping up with Internationals , and they come up with this bull shit that I'm not English through and through?????? What cause I won't follow a fuckin shit team to a friendly so to be propa English through and through I have to watch the England rugby team the England footie team etc..... Bollocks I love my country with a passion but I love my City as well. You don't choose your country but you choose ya club and you choose what you truly love the most.

I find it hard to cheer for England. Last night I couldn't help but find it funny as fuck when Egypt scored and I found myself almost hoping they'd get another at times. It's not like that with all teams we play but I like an underdog, especially when they're giving their all against a bunch of overpaid up their own arse tossers, some of whom are top class cockney fucking wankers (terry, lampard). I've always struggled to relate to the England team which I think is partly down to growing up and having an England team full of rags with no blues in it. I can't cheer them on and because they happen to come from the same country as me doesn't mean a great deal to me

I was behind Barry and Shaun all the way obviously, but I find it hard to cheer for people that I just don't fucking like. This is all just down to it being a firendly against a weaker team and I expect I'll be right behind the boys come the world cup, though I hope terry is out of the etam and the goals are scored by evryone else apart from rooney

I remember 66, even at such a young age I could sense a feeling of pride in everyone, little old ladies who dont like footy were talking about bobby moore charlton etc in the street. you will never have that feeling in a whole nation unless it happens again! also after the final everyone was going to the cinema to watch re-runs of the game v germany for months after. its better than winning a war!
come on england
come on city
