England Squad - Euro 2024

I was at an England fans event in The Milburn Stand St James Park Newcastle a month ago on the day after been Forest away. Southgate was there amongst others and it was concerning every aspect of the Euros in Germany. Pizzaman could not be more adamant about how he views a players ability to be able to handle not being picked and their willingness ( at least quite a few of them ) that they wont even kick a ball in a single game while there and not to be a disruption. That's also why I think it's one of the reasons he has picked 33 and not the 26 needed in my opinion. God help any player spotted out on The Bigg Market after the Bosnia friendly on 3rd June ha ha.

So effectively then he’s relying on just 14/15 players for the whole tournament, sounds about right, and the other 11 or 12 are to make the members up in training and playing pool and darts tournaments in the hotel, no fucking wonder we can’t win out, no fucking wonder

Yes and at least 2 of em ain't Rashford and Jordan Henderson. Despite Southgate we will still win it not cos of him.

Not arsed about either of them two to be honest, both poor, biggest decision he has is the 7 he’s gonna cut, I can tell you at least 6 now and it’s a toss up for the unlucky 7th member, but what he’s gonna achieve in two weeks by picking 33 only tells me it’ll be a good pot on the pool table for killer for a few week
 
Give us the 6 and see how close you get, forget the one who loses the pool match ha ha. He did make us laugh at the Fans forum thing. He was saying that picking the squad was gonna take some doing as we have so many decent players. In the afternoon a couple of hours before the event he had been to the Hospital in Newcastle and the ward that was dedicated to Sir Bobby Robson, he said one of the bed ridden patients just reached over to him with a piece of paper and said" That's my 26 players" made us all laugh and made me think back to Mike Basset and the fag packet ha ha.
