England v Germany | Nations League | Monday 26th September, 19:45

pretty entertaining game for the last half an hour

Neither team is any great shakes. Maguire was the difference maker, just not in a good way

Stange isn't it... Southgate has found two replacements for in the middle where his best defender plays but yet to find one to play on the left where the weakest missing link plays.

Think Southgate had a brain fart.

Realised he had a team that could attack. Told them to do it. Scored 3 goals. Realised it was an improvement so reverted back to type.
I think it was similar without his influence. The players decided to throw the tactics away and play their own game.

It’s pretty obvious judging by the results we’ve not been great these NL games - but they’re pretty much friendlies and come the major tournaments it’s all forgotten - just bored of the constant moaning and slagging off - it will never change, it’s what England fans do best
England has been absolutely shocking for those 6 nations league games apart from the last 15 minutes tonight and that is not ideal going into a World Cup.

Southgate playing it safe, playing out of form players and his unwillingness to change tatcics will be his downfall.

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get out of the group stage

Bellingham is the new poster boy for English football, he will get all the adulation, the shit & the criticism that goes with that mantle
Cos he genuinely stands out -and a huge Bonus for the MSM is he’s not a City Player -so they can run with it without the Clickbait concerns

Too many dispossession and one lead to a goal. Not acceptable for a defender. Maguire took the hightlight though.
He was better second half but agreed he wasn’t great overall. As for maguire, who on here is in any way shocked by the mistakes he makes? Yet Southgate will continue to pick him and probably make him captain.
