Sam Allardyce was a perfect choice for England if they wanted someone 'long term' to reach quarter finals on a regular basis.

The biggest problem England have is exactly what Scotland and Wales had 50 years ago... Over-expectation when they had one or two quality players in an age group, but the rest of the squad were no more than average.

Last night was an example of just how overrated and mentally weak the majority of English footballers actually are. Played off the park by a team of very average grafters that would struggle in the Championship.

I honestly can't believe that anyone actually pays money to watch England play. The FA should be giving tickets away through schools and charities.
