There were questions over whether Rooney should start at the last world cup. Since then he had had two terrible seasons for the Scum and he's still regarded as indispensable by Woy and the whole team is being built around him. If he discovers the balls to drop him and play the others in their best position they might have a chance. If not I'd be surprised if they make it beyond the last 16.

is it just us Blues who can see that wayne rubesch has been crap for two whole seasons now?There were questions over whether Rooney should start at the last world cup. very fine logic sir..i like it.course he is, let everyone at home and in the media think they're better than they are and put pressure on Mou to use them rather than anybody actually good.
Sterling can set them up all tournament for hattricks for all I care, as long as they start against us next season.

Sterling has to play over Milner. Milner works hard but Sterling has more skill and pace to break teams down.
Away from home Milner is a good option but at home somehow the team lacks something when he plays. That's not bitter but my opinion. Fascinated to know how many of our big home games or cup finals Milner started because I have s feeling Mancini and Pellegrini were of the same opinion as me.

It defied any logic have 2 players with 5o odd league goals between them wide whilst Rooney who barely started up front towards the end of the season was in the middle. For that reason I'm out.is it just us Blues who can see that wayne rubesch has been crap for two whole seasons now?

in the snippet i saw he looked unfit and off the pace...a bit like me at 5 a side footy this week..lol

Thats exactly what it is.....its detrimental to the team,and it fucking stinks.
Shoehorning Rooney into the side is going to cost Roy his job.
He did it at the World Cup and he'll do it at the Euros.
If Rooney is in a key position at the Euros, England will fail again and Roy will be gone.

Sterling has been England's best player during these friendlies by a long way, he's set up nearly every goal! Nobody has been close to Sterling for England in terms of creativity over these 3 games. He was England's best player against Australia and, despite coming on as a sub last night, provided the only bit of quality which won England the game.
Starting Rooney or Milner ahead of Sterling is just madness really.
