I think the whole Messi saga hasn't helped. Barca are suddenly public enemy no 1.Perhaps for some posters however I believe the majority is partly due to him seemingly messing the club about but mostly due to his performances recently. You could be excused for thinking some of it is deliberate he's been that poor. Given it was every hand to the pumps that is inexcusable to me.
BTW, he's just 3 months off 20 years old, not 18.

Most clubs in europe didn't comment tbf, even Utd.

Maybe you don't feel it when you hit the keys but your posts read as being very hostile / angry towards him.My hostity is not toward him, it's toward his ability & the fact he should never have been anywhere near playing PL or Euro games for MCFC.

I've never been a big fan of the lad, but the way some people have reacted to him (a 19yo boy, who's spent years in a foreign country and who wants to return home when he's fulfilled all he ever promised to us) is ridiculous. It makes sections of this thread read like they've been lifted from RAWK
IMO, if those who have difficulty letting go must to lash out, then they should lash out at our management or even have a laugh and take the piss out of Barca, but there's no excuse for taking it out on the lad. It's not nice and it doesn't achieve anything. He didn't ever say that he'd sign up to a further contract and he didn't ever select himself for the team did he, so what's the beef with him?
