Not really. De Rossi has become disgruntled and had a bad season so Roma want to cash in. Osvaldo criticised their manager and is something of a loose cannon, so they are happy to hand the troublemaker to us. Roma already turned down an £18m bid for Lamela from us according to Gazzetta (I think we dropped our interest as there were no reports of us going back with an improved offer) and a £18m offer from Barcelona for Marquinhos so are determined to hold on to them.

Somebody mentioned that he plays on the right. He is left footed though, correct?
Correct. More of a goal scoring winger than Navas, who is better at running down the wing and cross. Lamela is a skillful winger.
