Would be a fantastic signing and would more than make up for the Isco let down. He has a lot of potential and has scored some cracking goals against the likes of Juventus. Dribbles everywhere and has a great curling finish. Wouldn't be too worried about being too similar to Jesus, as they are different player types as someone mentioned. Perhaps Pellegrini could deploy him as a supporting striker with Kun...

If you're right, I'm starting to wonder what Txiki's doing. Osvaldo and Negredo? To be honest, I don't think Txiki and Pellegrini believe in the "four world class strikers" type setup. They probably think more along the lines of "build the front line around Aguero and sign good target men to support him with more emphasis on support/service from midfield" (a bit long-winded but...).

The two forwards we're linked to have an average of a goal every 2 games for the last 3 seasons. This may help improve our pretty poor record from our forwards, which last season was woeful, even if they're not "sexy" enough names for some on here.

As you've said previously though, we need some guaranteed goals from midfield for that to work. Which we haven't got at the minute . If only Reus was remotely feasible
