Why bother posting something like that? You know as well as anyone that we currently have no idea where he will end up.
Lol that’s every thread here. The Grealish thread was a marvel to watch, every day a new “he isn’t coming” for months, up until literally the day he was announced

I hope we can all agree that if he wants to succeed at being the best footballer he can be then it must be City or Bayern.

If he doesn't choose one of those then I don't think his main motivator is on pitch success and maximizing his talent. So no problem if we don't get him. Nothing wrong with that tbh, maybe money or lifestyle is the top driver. But seems clear to me that City or Bayern are stand out strongest teams who need a striker and have top coaches.

I understand what you are trying to say, but I think it’s a bit presumptuous to say that unless he or any player ends up here or at only one other club, the motivation must be greed. Sure, I don’t want to see great players at Chelsea, Liverpool or United for instance, but I am not going to say that if a player goes there, it’s a wrongful motivation. Even United now can pretend publicly they are on the right track with Rangnick “at the wheel” and it’s all going to be different. As for Bayern, they aren’t signing Haaland, that has been made quite clear. And I’m not sure how exactly they need a striker either.

Total non-starter. Haaland won’t play for Madrid next season.

People who still think he’s staying at Dortmund haven’t been reading the tea leaves well

Remember when you were equally as convinced that there was zero chance he would stay at Dortmund over the summer? You lolled and hehe'd at anyone daring to suggest thet had even a say in the matter. Just saying.

I am surprised you remember it’s possible to reply directly to me instead of just subtweeting

You are correct and I multiple times said I was wrong. The reason, of course, was that I assumed Dortmund would have been flexible on their fee.

Now, to be clear, I am not saying Haaland won’t go to Madrid. What I am saying is, and this isn’t just a guess: IF Raiola only wants him to go there, he would be staying another season at Dortmund. There was someone connected to Dortmund who even gave an interview saying something like “he might stay here longer than people think”; based on the whole interview, it didn’t seem to me like he knew something, but that’s the scenario I see.

Whereas there have been good indication of him arriving at a Premier League club
