Erling Haaland

Is Ferguson a good person for hating him?
I totally understand why he did, has Riaola destroyed a great football career for Pogba for the sake of money?

I would say he has.

Different agent but did Yaya's agent destroy what could have and should have been a wonderful relationship with this club?

Yaya was just as influential as Kun, Silva and Aguero but left under dark clouds , and for utter and total greed, it destroyed his legacy and it will always haunt him, it does to all players who put money before everything.

Yes because there is as much global interest in Sterling’s contract situation as in where Haaland will go next

I'm sure there'd be a lot more if Sterling's agent was out every 3 or 4 days linking him to a different club. Raiola is whipping up an absolute frenzy, as he always does, and fair play if that works for him and Haaland. Doesn't look like it's working for Dortmund or would work for City in future.

One player is not the be all and end all is what I'm saying. Every year there's a new 'generational talent' who we simply have to get, and yet we miss out and every year we compete.

not really sure why you guys are absolutely losing your mind over a fairly quaint raiola quote. that seems like the stupidest reason imaginable to not want to sign one of the best strikers in world football. relax a little.

I’m not so sure. The more I think about it, the more I believe that if he stays there beyond January, the chance of another season at Dortmund increases a bit. Would still be unlikely but not impossible

Very unlikely and almost impossible... another year at Dortmund would see the club grab the cash and not the player and his representatives - no way that happens.

He is moving next summer, he was always moving next summer It was never last summer it was never January.

Honestly I'm starting to think Vlahovic is a better option because of this. It's fucking constant and it's obvious that it's done to serve only himself. It's becoming very, very offputting to me that Haaland is associated with this guy.

City in padtticular have a dressing room with egos under control. No single player is worth upsetting that balance.
While I agree that Mino is a huge negative in any potential deal for Haaland, then it shuoldnt be the deciding factor as this guy is worth it....
Also the leech that is Raiola will have to be dealt with in the future, there will be other players at some point that are his clients that we may want....
Its a necessary evil Im afraid

This lad is the best about, but if we haven't already secured assurances, and this circus carries on into the summer, then we need to draw a line and bring in a player who is desperate for the unique opportunity we are offering.

He is talking crap, he is trying to get clubs in an auction, he is making Haaland look greedy.

Haaland WILL NOT STAY AT DORTMUND that is a crock of sh1t.

I believe we want Haaland and I feel the player also want's the deal, the problem is the agent fees etc.

With the new legislation the agent/family can't get what they originally wanted and they need to find new ways to get that money in terms of wages, signing on fees.

We are witnessing a public poker game, but if the fat Italian is not careful , we will walk.
We assume Haaland wants us....we dont know that...

He could well see a move to Madrid as better than a move to us....or a move to chelsea for instance...or even Liverpool if one of their front 3 goes (and he fits in their system as well)

I want Haaland as much as anyone but we dont know what he wants....we also dont know what other clubs are willing to offer and their is history that other clubs WILL offer more than we will and if we dont get him THAT will be the reason

Raiola is clever, he is telling clubs to start to make the big enquiries and offers.
Anyone who wants Haaland obviously has to bend over a bit for Raiola. It needs to be done or we wont get him.
Txiki and his pride can cost us this deal as he was haggling over couple millions before when there isnt a a fixed buyout fee because if there is no matter how inflated that is (Grealish) he pays it.

Problem here isnt the transfer fee because that is quite generous but the agent fee and salary combo.

Haaland isnt a player we want to miss out as he easily have the chance to become Lewandowski type of striker in terms of goals scored over a decade.

At least he has put to bed the notion we or anyone else has an agreement in place.

It's not even near, but more will hopefully become clearer next month.

Mino is doing his job, don't see why people are having a pop? Alfie and Erling trust him to deliver, as he has done for pretty much all of his clients down the years.

People wanting to blame Mino are the same people who wanted to blame Toure's agent, when he was in actual fact saying what he wanted him to.

We are in a decent position but we won't wait.
