I expect this will all hinge on whether Aguero signs or not
Like you say mate, the post-Covid landscape is very different. I think we’re in a very good position to make a strong offer. We don’t tend to get this type of player (i.e. the most highly sought after players in the world) as we’re not willing/able to pay the same wages or agent fees as some other clubs. Maybe in a post-Covid environment though we’ll find ourselves better places to exploit the market.
On what basis do you say Covid-19 has left us in a very strong position?Fortunately for Us, covid as left us in a very strong position. Raiola is my big issue. He tends to move players around like a car salesman. If we get Haarland it wont be for 10 yrs. Having said that. Haarland for however long, can only be good for city

Perhaps you can argue we are relatively strong compared to other big spending clubs like Man Utd and Barcelona but we are not an owner-firnanced club like Everton. That period was glorious but brief
Are you referring to Silverlake?
I was going to "Like" your post - but "Like" isn't sufficient. We buy one player next summer it should be this guy.
He has a £60 million buy out clause in a year or so.Cant see them letting Him and Sacho go tbh
Be a bit like City selling KDB And Jesus to Real

The trouble is Raiola insists on the buy out clause.
I don’t think we’ll put up with that.
Don't think Pep cares who is agent is, think the clubs issues with Raiola are much higher than that.We shouldn’t let peps feelings about this agent stop us going for him because the club is bigger than anyone and if it’s in our interests to go for this guy then I’m sorry but that comes before any personal problems .
Raiola clients don't stay at one club for ten years.£60m is an absolute bargain for him. We should still go for him even if it was double that. We'd be set for a world class striker for the next ten years.

Very few players stay anywhere for ten years, which is why it's a big deal when they do. The club throws them a big testimonial and everything. Raiola does what his clients want, they want to stay they stay, they want to move he gets them the best move. How many pages in a row are you going to repeat this nonsense?Raiola clients don't stay at one club for ten years.
Looking through his client list there are plenty of examples, add Matuidi and Donnarumma on also. Even Pogba's been at United since 2016 and can anyone really argue that he should stay there?I’m not sure when he began representing them but Insigne and Verratti have been at their respective clubs a while
I'd settle for 9Raiola clients don't stay at one club for ten years.
